These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FairFuel mobile application, the FairFuel website (fairfuel.io), and any related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. About FairFuel

FairFuel provides digital tools that help users find nearby fuel stations and compare fuel prices.

FairFuel does not operate fuel stations and does not sell fuel.

The Services may include:
• the FairFuel mobile application
• the FairFuel website
• related tools and services

The FairFuel website is hosted on Framer, which provides the technology platform enabling us to operate the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian to use the Services.

By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Use of the Services

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:
• misuse the Services
• interfere with the operation or security of the Services
• use automated tools to scrape or extract data
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
• use the Services for unlawful or harmful activities

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access if misuse is detected.

4. Fuel Price Information

Fuel prices displayed in the Services are provided by third parties, including fuel companies, public sources, and data providers.

Fuel prices are provided for informational purposes only.

While we aim to keep information accurate and up to date, fuel prices may change frequently and without notice.

FairFuel does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of fuel price information and accepts no responsibility or liability for any errors, delays, or discrepancies in such data.

Users are solely responsible for verifying fuel prices directly at the fuel station before making purchasing decisions.

5. Location Services

The FairFuel mobile application may use your device’s location to:
• display nearby fuel stations
• calculate distances
• improve the usefulness of comparisons

Location access is optional and can be controlled through your device settings.

Disabling location services may limit functionality.

6. Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate with or link to third-party services such as:
• map providers
• navigation applications
• analytics services
• infrastructure providers

These third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

FairFuel is not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party services.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within the Services, including:
• branding
• logos
• software
• designs
• text and graphics

is owned by FairFuel or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the Services without prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FairFuel makes no warranties regarding:
• accuracy of fuel price information
• availability of fuel stations
• uninterrupted or error-free operation
• compatibility with all devices

Use of the Services is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FairFuel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Services.

This includes damages related to:
• inaccurate or outdated fuel price information
• navigation or location errors
• service interruptions
• third-party services

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited under EU or Danish law.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Danish law.

We process personal data only where necessary and in a lawful, fair, and transparent manner.

11. Changes to the Services

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms take effect once published.

Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Services if these Terms are violated or misuse is detected.

You may stop using the Services at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts.
